That pesky problem: actual reality

The DNC, Dr. Dean, Speaker Pelosi, et al. are learning, the hard way, that faux unity is no unity; that when you try to create your own reality, real reality tends to get in the way.

So now here we are in Denver and Dr. Dean's and Speaker Pelosi's preferred candidate is dead even with John McCain in the polls; it is quite clear that delegates to the convention - especially those who have organized a nominating petition to be filed if the DNC reneges on its previous commitment to put Senator Clinton's name in nomination - understand their rights and responsibilities and want to have the opportunity to elect Senator Clinton as the Party's nominee; the DNC seems to be in a panic over its decision to enter Senator Clinton's name in nomination; the DNC and DNCC still will not confirm that they will hold a straightforward, transparent, regular roll call vote as specified in the Call for The 2008 Democratic National Convention, the Party's own official convention governance document.

Forget about making it seem like the Party is unified. At the moment, Dr. Dean and Speaker Pelosis cannot even make it seem like the Party - or at least its top officials - are honest.

Please keep us updated on what is going on in Denver.

I am posting links to all the sites who are. We need the truth and we are not getting it from the MSM.

Heidi, thank you so much for reporting events in Denver . Yes that pesty reality that all the 10,000pac pay offs can't alter!
You tired to tell them the limits of arm twisting. But the DNC has been in a bubble for years....it's about to get popped. If not now, then in the fall.
And even if Obama got in, he's unable to lead, unable to funtion in the job. We know that because if he was, he would not be the DNC's choice.

But somewhere along the line, reality will assert its self. It always does. Just ask all the Kings houses and all the King's men.

Sometimes it seems the DNC is trying to ruin the Dem brand altogether. That it's not simply a means, but one of its ends.

In the heat of the Convention is perhaps not the time to speak of the book you need to write. But I do speak of it and use the word need, because this will be the third cooked Presidential election in a row. We need a blueprint of what a fair process is and how these events failed the test or the cultural memory of fair process will fade even further .

I cannot thank you, Marc and all the others in the Denver Group enough for standing up for reality, fairness and common sense!

Please be careful in Denver, Heidi. I don't think it's out of line to fear for the safety of Hillary supporters and the supporters simply of due process. You were a fantastic Hillary supporter, and now your knowledge of how things are SUPPOSED to work at the convention makes you a threat to the DNC and the Obama-thugs. So please be careful and be strong!

Heidi it's "your shadow" again.
Reading your updates and as you say McCain and nobama are neck to neck-that is until November-if o is still in then-the DNC-has another "think" coming-they need to know that.
YOU my friend are their last chance to get it right and if they had 1/2 the since God gave them-they would follow!
IN MY Prayers,
Always,
Deb
