Marsha Pappas' Open Letter to Senator Clinton - and a present proudly worn

I am sure many readers of this blog have already seen this marvelous letter, written by Marsha Pappas, head of NOW NYS. It arrived in my email today, coinciding with the first day I had the chance to wear the wonderful shirt given to me by two generous donors to Senator Clinton who had the shirt to which they were entitled sent to me.

Ms. Pappas' letter, which I wholeheartedly endorse. (Click on text to enlarge.)

Thank you for sharing this wonderful post. And yes, I too, was in it for Hillary Clinton because she did see the invisible people. And when Hillary herself said - "You're not invisible to me." I knew she was my candidate. She says what she means, and backs her words with action - by pushing through legislation she has talked about to us during the election. So yes, I'm still with her, and will be ready for 2012.

Standing in that building on the 26th of August, I heard her ask the question too. My answer was exactly the same.

Thank you for sharing that letter. It speaks for millions of us.

Heidi: THANK YOU so MUCH for posting this letter and thus sharing it with us. It is wonderful and you cannot imagine how much it means to me.
Thank you to Marsha Pappas as well.
I hope Senator Clinton reads it.

We need change in the DNC now.

I was in it for Hillary since she was in it for everyone.
Marsha Pappas's letter is right to the point.

The shirt is wonderful. A friend bought two of them for me.

Thank you Marsha Pappas for continuing Hillary's voice by speaking for so many of us. What a magnificent letter. Thank you Heidi Li for bringing the letter here and for all of your fine, intelligent leadership. Both of you are a credit to Hillary and to all women.

Dear Hillary,

It's about competence. It's about character.

Of course it's about you.

It's vital Hillary knows how much she is adored and why since I feel Obama and his party will be working her pretty hard and without thanks. They are already wondering why she hasn't caused Palin to simply dissapear. In their way of thinking, Hillary is history , but somehow she's also the fount of all Dem action. They are always going to treat her with no respect. So it's wonderful to see a major organization be up front with their love for Hillary . Because most have gotten in line and parrot the notion that praise for Hillary is somehow being disrespectful to Obama Thank you for sharing this wonderful letter .

The problem is I see the new Dem party keeping up its efforts to wreck Hillary while working her non stop. I mean why would Obama and those around him stop what they been doing from the start ? If Obama gets the White House, then I fear for her political life, even Hillary Clinton may have to be come an Independent in order to survive .
