Admiration for Senator Clinton's willingness to consider having her name put in nomination - a post in two parts - part 1

As various sources are reporting, Senator Clinton today made it clear that she remains interested in the possibility of having her name placed in nomination. At ABC's website, they even noted one of the reasons Senator Clinton has given for her willingness:

"I happen to believe that we will come out stronger if people feel that their voices were heard and their views were respected. I think that is a very big part of how we actually come out unified," Clinton said at a California fundraiser last Thursday, in a video clip captured by an attendee.
I will not speculate on all of Senator Clinton's reasons for remaining open to the possibility of being formally placed in nomination as plenty of others will do that. Rather I applaud her courage and dedication. Courage: Senator Clinton certainly knows her critics will come down hard on her for not simply demurring to Senator Obama or anybody else. Dedication: Senator Clinton has always remained loyal to her constituencies, and she continues to remain so.

To be continued....

Thank you, Heidi, for reminding us with your vivid descriptions of the courage and dedication we've all come to love in Senator Clinton.

"Please note: comments welcome, but off-color, profane, and nasty comments will not be published. Civility rules!"

Which of these guidelines did my questions from the last post violate, Heidi?

From Heidi Li to anonymous: your comment did not violate any guidelines: I hit delete instead of publish by accident. I was going to cut and paste your comment into one of mine but would appreciate it if you resent. Sorry for the confusion.

To my surprise, well not really, the amazing link you posted to Barky's campaign website where folks were invited to 'pray for HIllary and the scum who support her...' or something like...

Is gone....

I must have stuck that in a dozen threads at sites yesterday.

I don't believe I've seen a more ineptly run campaign since...

Being a little sarcastic here, it's my style...

Your blog is an important one because through your eyes we 'little people' get to see and hear what's going on from a lot closer than we usually can.

Thanks for that.

It's with amazement I watch Obama's campaign disregard Hillary's excellent advice. She is keeping her word and trying to help unify the party, but Obama is having non of it.

If Obama had treated Hillary like a queen after June 3rd...and if he embraced her support and celebrated Hillary as she deserves to be, insisted she be placed in nomination, etc. he would have a far less fractured party now .

But this is Obama. The man who turned his back on the voters of FL and MI and let the DNC butcher their votes to his advantage . His treatment of Hillary, and her 18 million voters is appalling, has angered millions , has fueled PUMA....and he still doesn't get it .

Thank you for your efforts and writings, they are so important

I am not sure that Obama should treat Hillary Clinton like a "Queen", but just give her the respect she has earned.
They psychology is just overwhelming in this race. I think it must be understood that Hillary Clinton is only mother to Chelsea Clinton and wife of Bill Clinton. She is neither wife nor mother of Barak Obama who should sacrifice herself for the good of "the children" or "her husband".
If anything, Senator Clinton needs to put her name in nomination to stop this foolish projection of other peoples' mother and wife issues on the national scene.

Or, could it be that we are watching a charade played out by BO and Hillary to confound the media?

The know-it-alls are going crazy trying to make sure that Hillary is so damaged she cannot fill the veep slot. OTOH it screams that if her name is put in nomination the rest of the Party would disown her.

And look at how they keep barking wildly at Bill, claiming that he is at fault for everything. How the media hates this family. I'm hoping something will happen that leaves all the media shills with egg on their faces and completely disgraced.
