Breaking news straight from Senator Clinton's director of finance regarding retiring the debt

To clarify where the Clinton campaign stands on the issue of "deadlines" and retiring Senator Clinton's debt, I emailed Jonathan Mantz, Senator Clinton's incredibly hardworking and successful director of finance (head of fundraising) first thing this morning. See the exchange below. There is no more reliable source of information.

I have been working extremely hard in response to [your] last communication to "top" fundraisers, in which [you] said the campaign is making a big push for donations to retire debt, and that this push was to run through the 15th.

Has the closing date for this "push" changed? I could really use an answer.

No real closing date, we are trying to put a dent into this as quickly as possible. Although the response has been good so far, we have ways to go

Pls keep up all you are doing

Thanks so much, Heidi, for keeping us informed! Because of you, I donated another $250.00 today to help Hillary reduce her debt (which makes $500.00 just since she suspended her campaign) and made a donation for the first time to the Denver Group for $50.00. The closer we get to the convention, the worse Senator Obama seems to present himself. I don't have a lot of hope that the Superdelegates would do the right thing in nominating Hillary, but this is the first time in a while that I even see a twinkling in the distance. Thanks again for fighting the good fight and leading the way for all of us!

Hillarysmygirl, you said it exactly like I was talking myself. I donated $150.00 to retire Hillary's debt (second donation since she suspended) and $150.00 TO THE DENVER GROUP. It was tough to make the choice of not helping Hillary directly, but I thought that what best help than to try for her to still be the nominee, and that's what the Denver Group will try to do!
I believe in miracles, and every day I see Obama I find him more and more arrogant. Can't people see this?????
Thanks, Heidi Li, I come to your site first thing after coming to the computer, to find out what's going on with Hillary. Keep us informed and thanks so much for the good fights, we need leaders like you!
