Fun news about RETIRE THE DEBT

The effort to retire Senator Clinton's primary campaign debt is picking up all sorts of steam. One of the most effective videomakers in the Clinton camp previous made this video, Hillary Clinton is Not For Sale. Now she has a new video out, which also highlights the need to retire the debt, this time in the context of highlighting Senator Obama's shortcomings as an effective general election candidate for the Democratic Party. I'll say no more and simply refer you to the maker's website, where you can watch the new video yourself. Or just head straight to youtube.

Then, please come back here and donate to RETIRE THE DEBT
This is the single most effective way to tell the DNC and the delegates to Denver that we need a candidate who can win!

Thanks Heidi, this is interesting information from the 'horse's mouth' as it were. She says members of the DNC have a responsibility to remain 'neutral' until the convention. Let me take you back in time to Howard Dean's campaign for the Presidency: remember his amazing ability to raise vast amounts of cash through his website? Then, consider that Obama hit the ground with a 'vast amount of cash'. Then we find that in the space of a week, the DNC is moving its headquarters to Chicago. The logistics of such a move, as Anglachel writes about would be extremely hard to accomplish in such a short time. Leading to the concern that such a move was being planned quite awhile ago. I suspect that Howard Dean - along with Kennedy, Kerry, Pelosi, Reid, et al, have never been ‘neutral' regarding all the primary candidates and perhaps have even orchestrated this entire 'selection' process of this puppet Obama themselves. And, the repugnant treatment of HRC by the media and the Creative Class? HA! Of course they wouldn’t do a thing to stop it, it played right into their plans of railroading this farce of a nomination process to their own ends…ends set in motion a long time ago. Neutrality my a**!

Is there a place to find out what the current debt total is?

Anonymous is right. There is also something else that bothers me in all of this and that is I think that the DNC does not want to win and that they do not believe in the person they want to select.

In coming to this conclusion, I put aside the Constitutional issues, and the inappropriate actions and inactions of the DNC and asked two simple questions. Why would the DNC use stealth instead of a fair and open contest? Why would subterfuge be needed if a candidate were truly the best one? If it had been a fair and open contest, most Democrats probably would have backed the person who won. One does not have to use such tactics if one truly has the best candidate. My conclusion is that they did not believe he could win the nomination without subterfuge, therefore they really do not think he is the best candidate.

Just wanted you to know that I contributed $10.44 today toward helping relieve Hillary's campaign debt. I contributed via the link in her latest email, so it doesn't "count" here. But if you would like to include it, feel free. I know it's a small amount, but every little bit helps, right? Hopefully I will be able to contribute more next month.

Keep the faith, everyone!
